27th March, 2007 the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee announced that the 2008 Beijing Olympic medals style determined that the "Jin Xiang Yu" programme, gold, silver and bronze respectively for the used white jade, white jade green.

14th April, 2007 the Qinghai provincial government to the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee issued a formal request letter, the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee will request the Qinghai Kunlun jade production as the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games medals jade materials.
